The Chick-Fil-A Controversy

For several tense weeks our nation has been broiling unpleasantly in the cultural equivalent of polyunsaturated fat also known as the Chick-Fil-A Controversy.  All this hoopla was over Chick-Fil-A’s President Dan Cathy's comments about gay marriage.
Now I don't particularly have any dog in the Chick-Fil-A race but I do have a problem with what is going on here in America as to seeing our Freedoms disappearing more and more, day after day. And I blame the Obama administration for this.
    The fascists on the left are doing everything they can to destroy the American way, America's freedom of choice, and America's freedom of speech freedom. They are trying to destroy a man for expressing his religious, and his political freedoms. The left solution for that is to destroy him and his company to shut him up. It's no longer enough to boycott his business, now they want to stop him from opening up a business where he wants to. So tell me what is it about freedom of religion or freedom of choice that has made you brown shirts so upset? We have seem this happen decades ago. They used the same tactics in Germany, and we went to war to stop it. And now you are using the same extremist ideas right here in America.
    What has this Country become? Where has our freedoms gone? We can't open up a business in a big city now if we don't agree with a "Special Group" I was always told that In America we had the right to do whatever we pleased as long as we followed all applicable laws. What happened to those rights?
    the party of hope and change is still the party Socialist and Marxist ideas.
    The very same groups who fought so hard for their freedom of speech and right to the pursuit of happiness, would now demand the government be involved in silencing someone who's opinion is different from their own. Seems a bit hypocritical to me.
    Chick-Fil-A will survive without the help of these Chicago thugs. Rahm Emanuel is a stark-raving idiot. He and Screwy Louie Jew hater Farrakhan make a good pair. And these two Crooks are going to fight Crime?

    Every single American who loves his or her Constitutional freedoms should rebel whenever elected officials threaten the use of government power to punish any citizen for daring to exercise their rights. We should support this mans right to say whatever he wants to if this is what he believes . I'm not positing a debate on gay marriage, I'm saying that as elected officials have used their office to condemn a private business who makes a stand on religious or even his political grounds. Why haven't liberals cried against such an injustice? If the roles were reversed, if a conservative mayor barred a private business from expansion in his city because the owner believed that gay marriage is okay, I guarantee that every blue dog moron would be standing on top of every possible soap box decrying that mayor for being corrupt.

    They would be the first to try to champion the claims of the 1st Amendment.

    But not here. "Freedom of thought," and words like "liberty," are just punch-lines to them. To them, they're antiquated words from a completely different era. Unless the American people demand a high standard from their elected officials, there won’t be any high standards

How Low will the Left Go?

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has resorted to whisper-down-the-alley politics by alleging on the floor of the U.S. Senate that he heard through “a Bain investor” that Mitt Romney  hasn’t paid taxes in 10 years.
Reid will not reveal the source of the gossip, forcing Romney to fight back, essentially shadow boxing against a claim that isn’t substantiated.
Besides the fact that Romney would have likely been paid a visit by the IRS if that were, indeed, true, Romney has already released his tax returns for 2010, as well as his 2011 estimate. What did we learn? That Romney is good with money. That he is successful. And that he is charitable — wait, make that unbelievably charitable. “Romney’s charities of choice are diverse,” noted Forbes magazine, pointing out his giving to everything from Mormon causes to the United Way.
By throwing out an unproven accusation, the conversation has gone from pressing Obama on where the jobs are to painting Romney as a tax evader. Not only is it a fabricated distraction, it’s pretty pathetic if this is all the Democrats can come up with.
Further, it shines a light on their hypocrisy. Obama has yet to release certain Fast and Furious documents, his academic records, the full White House visitor list. The list goes on and on.
Plus, Reid himself refuses to release his own taxes. In 2010 it was estimated that Reid was worth $10 million — but he only makes a salary of $193,000 per year. So what’s Reid hiding? Should Romney make something up?
If you thought that the left couldn’t go any lower than that, think again. In perhaps the most egregious and slanderous attacks of all time, Priorities USA, a Super PAC run by former Obama communications aide Bill Burton, has put out an ad that links Mitt Romney to the closure of a steel plant in Kansas City, the subsequent loss of a family’s health insurance and, disgustingly, the death of a woman from cancer.

Some Questions About Slavery/Racism:

Based on some recent posts, racism and the battle against same, is the central thesis for many of the progressive bloggers. Some, it seems, found the actions of that that rocket scientist Chris Rock theory based on his race....and some imagined racism, and/or legacy of slavery....

1. Liberals love the idea of the “apology,” that the government should apologize for slavery, Japanese internment, you name it.

2. The Rabbis teach that no apology is legitimate unless the offender:

a. Expresses remorse stating specifically what he has done
b. Makes restitution
c. Refrains, in similar circumstances, from committing the offense again.

3. Based on the first of these, a governmental apology founders, without specifics as to who the “we” is, and who the “they” of the apology are.

4. Take the question of slavery vis-à-vis the American Government of today. Is it guilty of slavery?

a. If so, are those African American members of government equally guilty?

b. Are the American people alive today guilty?

c. If so, which ones? The black as well as the white?

d. Is the guilt heritable…for if it is, then would not those (the great majority of) Americans whose ancestors did not arrive until after slavery be exempt from apology?

e. How about the ancestors of the 300,000 white males who died to defeat slavery? Exempt as well? And the whites who voted for the 14th amendment and the Civil Rights Act?

f. And if not, on what basis are the descendants of slaves entitled to it?

5. Is it not absurd that six or seven decades after the West defeated Nazi Racism we are still considering making government decisions based on genetics?

6. To indulge in any racial preferences is not to award to a race, but, rather, to the state, the power to created different classes of citizens, and to rule on who shall belong to each class. This does not serve any desire for justice.

Why should any of us apologize for something that NONE of us, or anyone that is even alive today took part in?

Why Obama will NOT be re-elected.

1. Unemployment after 4 years of Keynesian economics is still over 7%. If Americans are out of work so will be the President.
2. US debt is over 14 trillion dollars and counting. He tripled the debt. We had a party and our children will have to pay.
3. We are still fighting an undeclared war in the Middle East with American men and women on the ground taking casualties with no end in sight. This really upsets me. It is not Obama’s fault but America should only fight declared wars, because undeclared wars are a never ending battle.
4. The budget is not yet balanced and 60 percent of the money goes to entitlements.
5. Change did not come.
6. The housing market is far from recovered.
7. China is rising faster than the USA.
8. US jobs are going overseas.
9. He accepted the Nobel peace prize for nothing.
10. Still no real business experience, only an academic.
11. Liberals feel betrayed as he did not follow through with transforming America with a liberal vision. Too much compromise.
12. Increased taxes.
13. Half the country is conservative.
14. After the initial honeymoon with international leaders, the global community respects him only for his title rather than his ability to lead.

If Obama win re-election, and I hope to God that he doesn't, he would be the first president in over 75 years to win with an economy as horrid as the one we have today.

And with Obama’s poor handling of the economy and jobs in America, I can't see him being re-elected at all..

Obama's life story as a Poor Boy!

So Obama tell us that there were no silver spoons, but lots of school loans in his past. And that when he met his Michele the Moocher they were  "Poor Together"   Isn't that a sweet thing to say!

And that his Grandmother worked her way up the ranks at the bank. Later, it took two incomes to pay the condo mortgage and the bills.  I wonder if that was the same Grandmother that crossed the street when she saw a black man.  Or was it his African Grandmother who lived in a Hut?   Oh my, such humble stories about this poor little black boy who had it so terribly bad.   That is until he met up with his Marxist friends how were blowing up Federal buildings and killing innocent people only because they happened to be patriotic Americans. President Obama's bus tour.

Obama's bus tour yesterday left me in shock, he wasn’t there for any other reason but to campaign. For him to walk away from that teaparty person , was out of the question, it would have made him look even more foolish than he already is. Lets not  fall into his trap, he was not there to listen or to compromise. . He was there only to obtain votes and walking away wouldn’t do that for his, would it! He hates us republicans/Conservatives . Do you folks really think that Obama  care one bit about the teaparty members? This was BHO LISTEN TO ME tour...he put himself out there...now let him take the heat..He NEVER listens to the American ppl. It is HIS FAULT and he had to have known that it was coming....He has that ego thing going on. He doesn't listen to us because he doesn't consider us on his level. He has bought into his own importance and we just don't matter at all.
